You are cordially invited to an event with the Queen

My sister put a lovely Queen themed bridal shower for our good friend Jenny. Fancy desserts, beautiful appetizers, a photo prop (made by yours truly and Sarah), one beautiful drawing of the queen by Jena (http://jenasommerkim.wordpress.com/), and fun games by Britnie made this event a night to remember.

Jena beautifully drew Jenny as the queen below and I designed the invitation for guests with Brittan's clever wording.

Britnie and I brainstormed games. The first was table setting etiquette. Guests were given a placemat with cut out pieces of silverware, drinking glasses and plates. Whoever got all the eating utensils in their proper place won a prize.

Second was a cake testing contest. Each contestant was given three different cakes, whoever could guess the special ingredients in all three cakes won. Mexican hot chocolate and lavender were among the three flavors.

The last game included writing a response to a wedding scenario gone wrong. Extremely horrific "what if" scenarios were said requiring each guest to write a solution. Whatever solution Jenny thought was best won. One scenario was, "What would you do if the best man, instead of his speech during dinner, proposed to his girlfriend?" 

Of course the night couldn't go without some proper paparazzi shots.
